Is there a concrete reality? Addressing postmodernism in brief:

Reality is created by Allah, The Real, Al Haqq. The closer you are to Him, the more real you become. The darkness is falling into nonexistence therefore it must constantly change. It’s shaky, false, and illogical. The aql cannot ever comprehend it because in its essence it doesn’t make sense, it leads you away from Allah ﷻ and only by His baqa’ does anything continue to exist. Take your imagination for example. It can quickly bring up imaginary things then they disappear as soon as you stop paying attention to it. It’s flimsy and precarious. Same with satanic ideas. They are shaky, false, irrational, harmful, and lying.

When the light comes in the falsehood disappears. Same thing for the hearts of human beings, receptacles of Divine light. Ayat an Nur is about your heart. Allah wants your heart. Give it to Him and let Him guide you to Him. Indeed to Allah we belong and to Him we return. There’s no way around that. You will not just disappear, it’s His Mercy that you were created to know Him and worship Him and only good comes from Him and nearness to Him is where joy and peace and safety and wellness and happiness and light and ecstasy are found. The darkness is full of confusion, lies, pain, illness, insanity, suffering.

So yes, there’s a concrete reality but you won’t find it on paths that don’t lead to Him. Those paths only, eventually, lead you to His path. It’s inevitable and unavoidable. You cannot find another way. There’s no other deity. There’s no other Creator. There’s no other baqa’. How fast you want to return is the question and in what manner. We take what we can handle one step at a time. His wisdom is greater than ours.

Surah Ar-Rahman, Verse 26:
كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ

All that is on earth is ephemeral/perishing/fani

Surah Ar-Rahman, Verse 27:
وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour.

والله أعلم
