A Scientific and Rational Refutation of LGBT Arguments

Intro

This article is meant to be a resource for those who want to safely learn what LGBT proponents argue and along with refutations of them. The Muslim community has already written coherent theological refutations of LGBT from an Islamic lens. I have also written an article on Addressing LGBT With Islamic Spirituality, which is both a coherent refutation of their ideas and helpful to those struggling with LGBT thoughts. That article is perhaps more befitting for sharing with LGBT strugglers and proponents. This article aims to list LGBT arguments and refutations of them. This article may be triggering to those who are deep in LGBT misunderstandings and ideas, so be cautious sharing this with those who may not yet be ready to accept it.

Philosophical Underpinnings

Current Western society is marked by the European Enlightenment, secular humanism, and the disenchantment of Europe. Thinkers like David Hume rejected the very possibility of miracles because they are “unscientific,” and atheists today unwittingly use the same arguments, despite being illogical and based on faulty syllogisms.

Relativism, likely originating from Greek sophists, led to the false notion that there is no concrete reality, reality is a mental construct, and you make up your own reality in your head. French thinker Jean-François Lyotard spread the idea that religion should be abandoned in its overarching thematic explanations of reality in favor of personal “mininarratives” to get at smaller and more personal “truths.” With these thinkers we see the promotion of  “lived experience” over empirical evidence.

Immanuel Kant rejected the idea of earlier philosophers that the objective world is independent of our mind, and started the idea that the objective world is partly a creation of our mind. Space and reality, to Kant, are just a mental structure of the mind to order sensations. Therefore, you can be whoever you want, and we can change reality to fit your mind. This is one of the roots of current LGBT activism.

Hence now we have new definitions and ideas about sex, gender identity, and gender expression:

Gender identity refers to one’s internal understanding of one’s own gender, or the gender with which a person identifies. Gender expression is a term used to describe people’s outward presentation of their gender.

Source: CDC

Basically, they are saying it is normal to have these thoughts and believe the solution is to accept them as your “identity.” This has been addressed in my other article. These are simply dark thoughts, you do not accept them, you reject them. If you believe the lies, you can wind up in a confused place until you rectify these falsehoods, and Allah is the source of all good and healing.

This Kantian philosophy is totally false. Reality is objective. Your mind can make mistakes. Allah Most High creates reality in every moment. Time belongs to Him, and it is both universal and relative depending on what He Wills for the individual. Someone living in the desert of Mauritania may experience time slower than someone living in busy American cities. On the Day of Judgement, for some it will take 50,000 years, and for believers it will be like the time between Zhuhr and Asr. We use language to describe reality, which is created by Allah Most High. Allah Himself is al-Haqq, the One True Reality. If your mind and thoughts do not conform to reality, you work on your internal states, you don’t act upon dark thoughts and attempt to change reality.

On The Spread of Indecency and Lewdness

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar said:

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned to us and said: ‘O Muhajirun, there are five things with which you will be tested, and I seek refuge with Allah lest you live to see them: Immorality (fahishah) never appears among a people to such an extent that they commit it openly, but plagues and diseases that were never known among the predecessors will spread among them. They do not cheat in weights and measures but they will be stricken with famine, severe calamity and the oppression of their rulers. They do not withhold the Zakah of their wealth, but rain will be withheld from the sky, and were it not for the animals, no rain would fall on them. They do not break their covenant with Allah and His Messenger, but Allah will enable their enemies to overpower them and take some of what is in their hands. Unless their leaders rule according to the Book of Allah and seek all good from that which Allah has revealed, Allah will cause them to fight one another.’”

LGBT Ideology Is Harmful to Youth

Source: https://www.flfamily.org/wp-content/uploads/Navigating-the-Transgender-Landscape.pdf page 10

Research shows that exposure to LGBT ideology can trigger these thoughts and beliefs in youth.

STD Rates

Gay and bisexual men have early syphilis rates 248x higher than heterosexual men and over 70% of early syphilis cases are among gay and bisexual men in the USA (California Department of Public Health).1 In Australia, 16.4% of gay and bisexual men had an STD in 2022.2 Over half of people with HIV in the USA are gay and bisexual men, most new HIV infections occur as a result of their behavior, and the lifetime HIV risk of gay and bisexual men is horrifyingly high: 1 in 6 across all demographics, 1 in 2 among African Americans, and 1 in 4 among Latinos (CDC 2023).3

Source: CDC

Personal note: Although I am a Muslim writing this article, I want to add that these STDs are horrible illnesses and even though people engage in illicit behaviors prohibited forever by Allah Most High, I still am not happy about these infections. I would not say they “got what they deserve,” but they are stepping into a very dark and sinful place, and if you get hurt while you’re there, you need to learn from your mistakes, commit to leaving this evil, and repent. Everybody can repent before they die. Also, Allah Most High sent down the cure for every disease except death, so do not lose hope that the Lord can cure you. I would also like to add that even if STD rates were decreasing or low among them, it still does not prove nor disprove the falsehood of this behavior and lifestyle.

On Changing the Creation of Allah

Allah warns us that Satan will mislead mankind and tell them to alter Allah’s creation:

Instead of Allah, they only invoke female gods1 and they ˹actually˺ invoke none but a rebellious Satan—cursed by Allah—who said, “I will surely take hold of a certain number of Your servants. I will certainly mislead them and delude them with empty hopes. And surely I will order them and they will slit the ears of cattle2 and surely I will order them and they will alter Allah’s creation.” And whoever takes Satan as a guardian instead of Allah has certainly suffered a tremendous loss.

1(The pagans of Arabia used to shape their idols as females and give them feminine names.)

2(Note: Slitting the ears of cattle dedicated to idols was a superstitious practice before Islam.)

Quran 4:119

Changing Genders is Impossible

LGBT Myth: “A person suffering from gender dysphoria is living in the wrong body. For example, they were born a man, but truly are a woman stuck in a man’s body. Transgender medical interventions are life saving and good for their mental health, because until they get that treatment, they are literally stuck in the wrong gender until modern healthcare changes it.”

I have already addressed this by describing who a human being really is in Addressing LGBT With Islamic Spirituality.

Furthermore: It is biologically impossible to change your gender. They can only give you unnatural hormonal treatments (with sometimes weird and horrifying side effects) and surgical “top and bottom surgery” to imitate the opposite gender. Both become unable to reproduce, losing the core purpose of intimacy with one’s spouse. The surgeons offering these immoral surgeries are using false advertising. The mental health counselors promoting false gender affirmations and signing off on these surgical interventions are doing the opposite of their job – taking people with dark thoughts further out of touch with reality and away from who they are, rather than bringing them back to reality. Many professionals, especially in mental health, now view healthcare as a means of fulfilling patients’ desires.

You will not find long-term wholeness and happiness via transgender surgeries and hormonal pills, just like taking illegal drugs will not improve your life, it will destroy your life. I notice that, reading LGBT stories, most have similar backstory elements of being around misguided people, looking at pornography on the internet, internet addiction, and sinful “experimenting” leading up to these confusions. These behaviors can act as a gateway to dark thoughts and further dysphoria and disillusionment.

Sanitize your life, turn away from evil, find enlightening friendships, put good things in your heart, respect yourself and your body, end toxic relationships, further your profession, and seek to improve your relationship with God.

Suicide Rates Among Transgenders

A Danish study using four decades of data found that transgenders have a 7.7x higher rate of suicide attempts and 3.5x the rate of suicide deaths than the larger Danish population.4 Regret is so common that an entire website was set up to document and warn others against transgender surgeries: https://sexchangeregret.com/

One of the highest quality studies, covering a 30-year period with 324 participants in Sweden, where the culture is strongly supportive of the transgendered—documents their long-term mental unrest:

The overall mortality for sex-reassigned persons was higher during follow-up (2.8x higher) than for controls of the same birth sex, particularly death from suicide (19.1x higher). Sex-reassigned persons also had an increased risk for suicide attempts (4.9x higher) and psychiatric inpatient care (2.8x higher). Comparisons with controls matched on reassigned sex yielded similar results. Female-to-males, but not male-to-females, had a higher risk for criminal convictions than their respective birth sex controls.

https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0016885

Nonetheless, even if their suicide rates and mental stability were sound before and after these medical interventions, it is still a falsehood about the person. This is not who they truly are nor who they were created to be. Their soul is not the opposite gender, rather it’s disturbed by these dark decisions they’re making. Their true self does not want this.

The Dystopian West

LGBT and Liberal Myths: “The West is best. The USA is the greatest country on Earth. The Global South do not respect women and treat women like slaves. LGBT are an oppressed minority and must be defended worldwide. We must spread the LGBT agenda and ideas around the world to ‘civilize’ the barbaric Global South, and people should be forced by their governments to accept our ideas.”

Our senses are meant to connect us to reality around us, not live in an dystopian alternate reality inundated with addictions to video games, pornography, violence, and abusing women. The West legally allows mass desensitization to forbidden, inappropriate images and rampant use of sex appeal in advertising, leading to the demoralization of society, destroying spirituality, and toxifying the spiritual environment around us. One study found 21-38% of ads used sex appeal in the USA among various marketing sectors, including entertainment, health products, and clothing.5 Such mass disrespect for women undoubtedly creates a culture of objectifying women. About 1 in 4 undergraduate women (26%) in the USA report being raped.6 Psychologist Leonard Sax wrote two books about the challenges of raising boys and girls in the West with their addictive and illicit behaviors.7 Meanwhile, the US government attempts to force its toxic culture and false ideas onto the rest of the world as a form of neocolonialism.8

Don’t Believe Fake Western Science

Western psychology history is rife with abuses and misconduct. Anybody who takes a college-level psychology class will learn about unethical studies.8 The Tuskegee Syphilis Study is just one of many unethical incidents in American history. Anybody who studies WWII will find shocking, inhumane experiments done on prisoners as human lab rats, especially among Nazis and the Imperial Japanese (unit 731). Muslims have no track record of such inhumane behavior, despite a very long record of scientific inquiry.

The Western world has been promoting false, evil ideas with fake science for centuries. One of the most commonly known is phrenology, where Europeans used fake data to promote slavery and racism, affirming the supposed “European superiority over other races.” By comparing skulls of different ethnic groups it was thought to allow for ranking of races from least to most evolved. Broussais, a disciple of Gall, proclaimed that the Caucasians were the most beautiful, while peoples like the Australian Aboriginal and Māori would never become civilized since “they had no cerebral organ for producing great artists”.9

American physicians such as Charles Caldwell used phrenology to attempt to “prove” that African people were in their rightful place as slaves. Caldwell studied conveniently-picked sets of skulls of many different peoples, including Africans, at the Musee de Phrenologie in Paris (Excuse the blatant disrespect for human remains). In 1837, he concluded that the skulls of African people (a flawed generalization of an entire continent of diverse peoples) indicated a “tamable-ness” that made them suited to be slaves, and required them to “have a master.”

American physiologists, such as Samuel Morton, used phrenology to justify genocide against Native Americans. Morton conducted fake science comparing Europeans to the First Nations (Native Americans) and Africans in his 1839 book “Crania Americana”. He defined “four separate species,” completely dehumanizing First Nations and Africans. This false theory was then spread through articles aimed at western settlers encountering Native Americans. These articles portrayed Native Americans as unsuited for farming and slow learners, implying their way of life was incompatible with progress and industrialization. This racist view helped fuel Andrew Jackson’s Indian removal policies and emboldened western settlers to continue seizing Native American land.

As Muslims, we know all of this false, and many great thinkers and ulema originate from every continent, scores of which came from Africa whom we respect and admire.

Excerpt from “Crania Americana” showing the supposed differences between the skulls of different races. Morton contrived similarities between the skulls of primates and African people. This “racism confirmation bias” and fake research was used to justify violence, genocide, and brutal American slavery.

Anybody who has participated in a scientific research study in a Western university can tell you the potential for error and human bias. An even cursory inquiry into the problems of Western “research” will unveil a world of corruption, biases, dirty money, and manipulation. It’s not hard to promote an agenda using fake science. Scientific fraud occurs in every sector, from Harvard to healthcare. Even a scholar at Harvard was accused of falsifying research about, of all topics, honesty. Over 5,500 retractions were recorded just in 2022.10 The website “Retraction Watch” uncovers the inner workings of a “paper mill,” where they “provide an array of fraudulent services to researchers and academics seeking to publish articles in peer-reviewed journals. The services they provide include ghostwriting, brokering authorship positions on papers accepted for publication, and falsifying data.”11 Needless to say, the Western world has been fraught with dishonesty for centuries and their “new scientific research” promoting LGBT should be carefully scrutinized and held to heavy skepticism.

Creating “gender studies” professions at universities to publish pro-LGBT research and promote LGBT around the world is one of their multi-faceted approaches to spreading LGBT around the globe until you cannot avoid it. A 2023 call to papers clearly focuses on identifying roadblocks to spreading LGBT and attempting to overcome them. The LGBT movement has been pumping money for decades into spreading this ideology. So do not be surprised to find research being published that claims the “health benefits” of gender affirmation or accepting that you are supposedly an unchangeable homosexual, etc. It is obviously contrived, whether the data is sound or not, to promote an agenda. One can easily concoct a study and choose parameters and data sets to produce a certain outcome. You can restrict the term to a certain window that will produce a certain outcome, ignoring data on what happens later. Everybody who has done research knows this. You can just file a result you don’t like and try again until you get the paper you want (a common practice). The mere publication of such research does is not an indicator that LGBT is correct, good for your mental health (an absurd claim considering it is a mental illness), not harmful to society, not sinful, nor immoral or unethical. It simply means there are people in the West willing to spend their time and money on promoting this LGBT agenda. That is all it means.

Thankfully, a group of international healthcare providers started an organization for evidence-based LGBT treatments. With gender dysphoria on the sharp rise in Western countries, healthcare providers must use caution with ascribing to the very ideology creating and exacerbating the problem in the first place.

On Medical Debate

Their website states:

In medicine, as in all of science, debate is an essential mechanism that allows the field to self-correct and progress. The now debunked but once widespread practice of lobotomy was widely endorsed by mainstream medical communities, and the pioneer of the practice received the Nobel Prize in Medicine. A more recent example is the prescription of opioids for chronic pain, which was also endorsed by medical societies, and opposition to this practice was labeled “opiophobic.”

The history of medicine is rife with triumphant feats and tragic failures. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes years or decades to differentiate between the two. Debate shortens this journey.

Their website has a page which compiles concerning studies and medical literature about LGBT affirmation.

LGBT Ad Hominem13 Arguments

Regarding labeling critics as “transphobic,” they state that “Resorting to ad hominem attacks is often a reflection of weakness in one’s own argument, and we believe such tactics detract from the quality of scientific debate.”

LGBT Thoughts Can Be Cured

LGBT Myths: “Conversion therapy is a pseudoscience and should be illegal, because it is abusive towards LGBT who need to be affirmed.”

Nobody terms mental health counseling for LGBT people who desire to overcome their illnesses “conversion therapy.” Rather, it is a pejorative term used to denigrate providers who do not support LGBT myths and attack the Catholic church’s attempts at addressing those with LGBT thoughts. Regardless of the successes or failures of the Catholic church, wholesale banning any kind of counseling for LGBT people is not the answer. It just indicates the Christians’ methods are possibly ineffective or harmful. They desire to promote an agenda that LGBT people were born that way and are stuck that way, so they must be affirmed, using the notion that affirmative therapy is better for their mental health. Obviously, when you have an agenda, you will ignore any data or research that indicates LGBT sufferers benefit from “conversion therapy,” seek out data indicating “conversion therapy” is harmful, and do research to prove that affirmative therapy is beneficial. Anybody can do this with enough resources, it doesn’t indicate that is the right direction to head into nor even that what their research claims is actually true. It just indicates a concerted effort and perhaps a failure of the Christians to help LGBT people.

LGBT issues are simply dark thoughts that can be cured. As Muslims, we believe that every disease except death can be cured. We encourage every human being to believe this and never stop seeking the cure no matter your illness. Remain optimistic.

Is there research indicating therapy can result in a cure for LGBT thoughts and behaviors? One study from the New York State Psychiatric Institute found 200 participants “reported at least some minimal change from homosexual to heterosexual orientation that lasted at least 5 years” after reparative therapy.

Dr. Joseph Nicolosi had a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. His website hosts numerous client stories of homosexual men who were healed and became heterosexual again. He has authored several books on what he termed “reparative therapy,” a system of healing from homosexuality. He published a book way back in 1997 called “Healing Homosexuality.” After treating over 200 homosexual clients, he chose eight case studies for his book. Another book called “Case Studies of Reparative Therapy” was written by his widowed wife, which details treating homosexuality rooted in childhood attachment trauma. I will quote a reviewer below for a summary:

Gay Affirmative Therapy (GAT) advocates that “dissatisfied homosexuals would be satisfied if they could only be free of the internalized prejudices of society… It [assumes] that coming out is the answer to every homosexual client’s problems” (p. 239).

We can recognize that this way of understanding same-sex attractions, extended to embrace all categories in LGBTQ+, has been established as the society’s mainstream, and promulgated through the school curriculum to the youngest in the society as if facts. Activists across the world seek to silence the alternative perspective by lobbying for a Conversion Therapy Ban, which is currently going through the legislative procedure in the UK.

The mainstream rhetoric offers very little for us to ponder. That “we are born that way” has shut down all inquiries. If this is so, being able to live the way you were born should be liberating and bringing inner peace. But why hasn’t it ended the struggle in LGBT+ lifestyle like a magic formula? Listening to the testimonies of ex-LGBT+, it seems to me that being able to live the lifestyle does not resolve the internal disquiet. It is common to these testimonies that life spirals out of control with all sorts of excesses because of deep dissatisfaction and depression ensues. Maybe there are people who are happily ever after and in stable relationships – it is not for me to dispute. But it seems to me that the mainstream rhetoric is not totally honest in what they are leading us to believe. In turn, it does not demystify the differences for me and there is no help for my understanding.

What is Reparative Therapy (RT)? RT “sees homosexuality as a development deficit” While “GAT sees Reparative Therapy as playing on a man’s self-deception, guilt and low self-esteem” (p.239). “GAT presumes that homosexuality is a natural and healthy sexual variation. It then proceeds to attribute every personal and interpersonal problem of the gay man to societal or internalized homophobia. Its theoretical model frames the life experiences of the client in the context of victimization, inevitably setting him against conventional society.” “Interestingly, GAT and Reparative Therapy agree on what the homosexual man needs and desires: to give himself permission to love other men. But GAT works within the gay ideology of eroticization of these relationships, while Reparative Therapy sees sex between men as sabotaging the mutuality necessary for growth towards maturity. Reparative Therapy frees the homosexual man to love other men not as sex partners, but as equals and as brothers” (p.240).

Despite the evidence, LGBT activists oppose any kind of return to heterosexuality. In an article, “Observations in a Gender Diversity Clinic,” published in Ethics and Medics, Dr. Monique Robles, a board-certified pediatric critical care physician, observed that children and adolescents are put on the path to puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and “sex reassignment surgery” at gender clinics, but receive no psychological counseling.

Follow the Money

One journalist uncovered the Pritzker family of billionaires with deep investments in the medical-industrial complex, profiting off of the institutionalization of transgender ideology. They spend millions of dollars on research grants spreading pro-LGBT propaganda, training surgeons, promoting LGBT issues, LGBT studies in universities, and more. Pritzker even funded a mental health clinic in their name with a $25 million grant that contains a “LGBT Psychiatry” specialty clinic. Social engineering to create more transexual patients is clearly on the agenda, and it is taking in hundreds of millions of dollars. The Tides Foundation took in over $80 million in federal funding, which spent $47 million on LGBT issues. Read more here.

Identity Culture, Shallow Teen Culture, Sinful Social Media, and Internet Exposure

In the book Irreversible Damage by Shrier, the social and cultural causes in the USA of transgenderism are explored. She states that suicide attempts have increased 189% since 2010 (p. 3) and the average age at which American girls first viewed pornography is only eleven (p. 23). In chapter two of the book, we learn that 65% of adolescent girls discovered transgenderism after prolonged social media immersion and that “the prevalence of transgender identification within some of the girls’ friend groups was more than seventy times the expected rate.” Meaning girls are up to 70x more likely to identify as transgender if their friends’ also made the same decision.

Anybody with a sincere eye of observation, with or without the data, can tell that this is a “craze” or “the latest thing” that spreads from its popularity rather than an actual problem you are born with. One Christian man who works at a school quoted a student saying “I think I want to be trans” because “Trans students are way more popular and I think it would be fun to pick out a new name.” Continuing on, he states:

In my school I have seen social pressure to identify as trans to fit into a peer group, as well as professional pressure to not only use preferred pronouns but to deceive parents into believing that their children have not made the changes that they have. I have attempted to receive more information about what is required in my school district, but a policy has not yet been firmly established. In other nearby districts, teachers report that it is against their board policy for teachers to reveal the identity of transgender students.

Shrier also notes that, “Transgender influencers coach other adolescents on how to wheedle a testosterone prescription from a skeptical clinician. They advise teens to study the DSM diagnostic criteria for gender dysphoria and prepare a pat story about how they ‘always knew’ they were trans” (p. 34). This has been my observation as vocal trans-identifying students take on roles as recruiters of trans students. These same individuals can exert a sense of power and authority as they associate themselves as both part of a powerful social group and as people of influence because of the successful manipulation that they have carried out upon their friend groups.

Irreversible Damage: The Capitulation

Shrier discusses how many schools have capitulated to the demands of trans special interest groups. She explains that, in California, laws explicitly allow parents to opt their children out of sexual education instruction in health classes. However, the California legislature “exempted all materials related to ‘gender identity, gender expression’ and ‘sexual orientation’ from that opt out. Such instruction—educators contend—is essential to prevent discrimination, harassment, and bullying” (pp. 60-61). She also notes that “New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Illinois, Northern Virginia, and Oregon public schools have already adopted a radical approach to gender in their curricula and policies” (p. 60).

As a member of the NEA myself, I can attest to receiving materials encouraging me to push what I consider to be radical teachings on the subject. Shrier notes that it is the official policy of the NEA that parents not be notified when trans students “come out” at school (p. 74). She quotes a teacher that she interviewed whose philosophy on the subject matches the philosophy of many educators. He explained to her, “Parental rights end when parents enroll their children in a public school” (p. 75).

You may be wondering, “What are parents doing about this? How can they not know what is happening in the schools and how are they reacting when they find out?” Those are good questions. Shrier devotes a chapter of Irreversible Damage to the moms and dads and answers these questions and more. One of the things that was noteworthy to me is that she described throughout that chapter how parents are pressured by therapists who say, “Affirmation is key—it’s the most powerful way to prevent possible suicide” (p. 81). Shrier explains how the threat of suicide is leveraged against parents. The subtle threat to parents seems clear: “If you don’t support and promote your daughter’s decision, you could be the person responsible for her suicide.” This seems to be the leading reason why hesitant parents move to a position of support.

Two years ago, our school did not have a nurse in an office accessible to our students. We had one virtual year since then, and this school year the nurse’s office is across the hall from my classroom. Multiple times a day, I receive requests from students to see the nurse. Many of the requests are “emergencies” related to social anxiety. I often peek into the hallway to find a line of students waiting to see our nurse. When this is the case, I deny the student the pass because it will take more than a class period for them to actually make it into her office. Almost every student has self-diagnosed themselves with some sort of disorder and many of them are abusing medication as a result. I completely agree with Shrier that part of the problem is that so many of our kids are misdiagnosing themselves or assuming the worst about their feelings and emotions. She says, “Were it not for this compulsion to categorize and diagnose minor bouts of anxiety, depression, obsession, romantic impulse, sexual inclination, and all manner of good and bad feelings, [those feelings] might be left to grow, develop, change course, or die off” (p.90).

Irreversible Damage: The Transformation

I believe that every chapter in Irreversible Damage is incredibly important and that it should certainly be read in whole. That being said, the chapter that might be most significant is the chapter “The Transformation.” This chapter delves into lupron, cross-sex hormones, testosterone, “top” surgery (aka double masectomy), binding, “bottom” surgery (aka phalloplasty or metoidioplasty), and the risks involved in all of them. The bottom line is that thousands of young people are mutilating and removing parts of their body without parental knowledge or, on the other hand, via parental manipulation. The damage that is done by these things is often physically irreversible. Shrier shares numerous stories and facts about the psychological repercussions as well. She notes that the more steps toward complete transition a trans-identifying person makes, the more likely they are to commit suicide, experience intense regret, and struggle with mental health.

Shrier concludes Irreversible Damage with a chapter about how people can find happiness after detransitioning. It is not an easy process, but she interviewed tons of people who have transitioned and who have detransitioned and offers a significant amount of wisdom for people in that position.

Renew.org, a Christian website

An Amazon reviewer for the book stated:

I’m 55, with a 19 and a 22 year old. Either one of my kids could easily have fallen prey to this seductive movement and entered into a lifetime of medicalization. At 12, my youngest “came out” to me as lesbian, and I simply told her she can form romantic attachments to whoever she likes, but I wasn’t willing to label her at that point. She didn’t like my firmness, but now she looks back on that phase with embarrassment, as a moment when she felt left out, wanted to be special, belong, and be celebrated… the queer kids were getting stuff she wasn’t getting, so she joined the LGBTQ club at school. Now she is exclusively heterosexual, it seems. By the grace of whatever, she didn’t get hooked into trans back in 2016. But I wouldn’t consider any of these kids to be “out of the woods” until they’re at least 28. and In my limited circle of friends and acquaintances I know: (she then goes on citing numerous incidences of transgenderism she has observed)

This book highlights the capture of once-trustworthy medical institutions like the Endocrine Society, where ideology now trumps biology, and activism thwarts scientific research. It’s quite a scandal, and the irreversible damage being done to young people is not rare. It’s happening over and over again in my own social circle. I’m not willing to keep quiet about it.

Denouncing Violence Against LGBT

A strange behavior among Westerners is the idea of “beating up gays,” as if violence against them is a way of helping them leave this behavior or overcome their lowly desires. Rather, this simply feeds the LGBT political agenda of forcing their false ideas on others on the basis of protecting their physical safety from wild, belligerent American Christians or imaginary, state-sanctioned “gay punishers” in the Muslim world and among African leaders. They even so far as take random videos of people being punished in the Arab world and claim their crime was homosexuality, despite not understanding the local language, not knowing the source of the videos, nor having a single piece of evidence of these individuals’ conviction. They could be any other kind of generic criminal, but if you take a grainy video and show it to Westerners with a wild claim, they jump to believe it out of gullible hope to incriminate the Muslim world. They should work on cultivating honesty rather than slandering people on the other side of the world. Their goal is to build a case to colonize their legal systems and take away their freedom to reject LGBT ideologies, then promote forced LGBT “education” in schools.

Their Goal of LGBT Desensitization

This part is partly an excerpt from a Yaqeen paper.

The LGBT movement actually got their marketing tactics from Communist Chinese brainwashing methods.

In 1989, neuropsychologist Marshall Kirk and social marketing and advertising executive Hunter Madsen co-authored the book After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90s. Both these Harvard-trained authors identified as gay, and their book served as a manifesto for normalizing homosexuality in Western societies. “The campaign we outline in this book, though complex, depends centrally upon a program of unabashed propaganda, firmly grounded in long-established principles of psychology and advertising.” Kirk and Madsen employed the principles of desensitization in their campaigning. They sought to build on people’s primal instincts, whereby “a flood of gay-related advertising, presented in the least offensive fashion possible,” would get the job done. “If straights can’t shut off the shower,” the authors quip, “they may at least eventually get used to being wet.” On their notion of “conversion,” the authors write, “We mean conversion of the average American’s emotions, mind, and will through a planned psychological attack in the form of propaganda fed to the nation via the media.”

Deterrence

The public sphere should be sanitized to a basic level of human decency to promote the general welfare. Many countries have media laws prohibiting indecency in films and even in public. Raising a family in a society that respects the public sphere, restricts harmful media content, and retains a socially conservative culture is ideal for every member of society. As the West falls into the darkness, the Rest should not allow themselves to be dragged in with them. You shouldn’t need to touch a red-hot stove with your full hand and severely burn yourself to learn the simple lesson of “don’t do it, don’t go there.” Let’s take the lesson the easy way and not go there at all.

When God prohibited certain behaviors – such as murder, theft, highway robbery, and homosexual conduct – the benefits of avoiding them and consequences of falling into them should seem obvious. It shouldn’t require an entire article of “rational and scientific refutations” to tell you this is wrong. God said it’s wrong, that should be enough. But since Europeans turned completely away from God, the times demand such detailed refutations which should seem obvious to anyone who hasn’t fallen so far into corrupting their heart, mind, and basic human nature (fitrah). The evils of the West should not be understated, even if hordes of scientific data do not deter them from their spiral of death. Everything will be much easier and make sense if the West would simply turn back to God, come to Islam, and follow the Shari’a.

Thus, deterring LGBT is a good thing. A society rife with pornography, LGBT desensitization tactics, and public indecency is obviously not conducive to good health and strong families. Constant exposure to LGBT ideas, indecent images, and pornography can lead to falling into dark places yourself, which is obviously not good for the individual. If you hung around schizophrenics, drug dealers, thieves, sociopaths, and murderers all day, you might lose your mind or become a criminal yourself even if you were of sound health and mind to begin with.

The past decade in the USA/CA has seen a surge in LGBT clinics, treatments, surgeries, providers, and patients. Exposing people to this darkness may result in spreading its woes among otherwise healthy people, whether they are aware of its consequences or not. Many countries have almost zero LGBT presence. One survey found that 40% of South Africans do not know a single LGBT person. I know a South African who himself has never seen one in his life, and many other Africans from numerous countries say the same to me, including Nigeria, Sudan, etc. You only find them in countries with rabid sex tourism, such as Thailand and others. Of course it was Western expatriates, including an American Vietnam war veteran, who started the sex tourism in Thailand which sadly taints the country to this day. Everywhere Western culture goes, societal degradation and social degeneration follows. Is this what we want our daughters to fall into, prostitution and immoral entertainment industries for foreigners? If you travel through numerous Muslim countries, which are more resistant to Western culture (though the youth are falling prey), you may never see an LGBT person anywhere.

The conclusion is obvious: LGBT should not be “normalized.” It is not normal, it is against the very individual’s human nature and who they themselves truly are. Restoring social conservatism and common sense needs to be a goal of the West, and preserving these is important for societies that still retain it.

One paper states that “LGBT-identifying persons are already (rightly) protected by international human rights treaties by virtue of their personhood, not their sexual orientation or gender identity. Pushing LGBT-specific policies around the world is a coercive attempt to change foreign cultures and laws from afar and displaces human rights like religious freedom.” The Biden administration used the State Department, USAID, United Nations, and executive order 14075 to promote LGBT ideology worldwide, including a plan to “end conversion therapy” around the world. His executive order includes orders to “engage with partner governments to encourage them to stop sponsoring, funding, and/or otherwise supporting CTP (conversion therapy practices)” and “emphasize the importance of ensuring broad access to evidence-based SOGIESC affirming care.” Bans on so-called “conversion therapy” would act as a counseling ban to restrict mental health care professionals and patients from engaging in therapy consistent with their sincerely held religious beliefs or professional opinion. Muslims should inform their citizens about these coercive attempts to force LGBT ideology worldwide on them and educate the public about false LGBT assertions. Ideological colonialism is a serious issue that we must stand up to proactively with truth.

Extramarital Relationships, Disease, and Unintended Pregnancies

It is notable that the West rejected abstinence and promoting it among teenagers. Culturally, the West promotes and celebrates extramarital affairs and labels those who do not participate in their inane, sinful culture as “incel” and “beta males,” who simply do not have the wealth and physical attraction to win over females or the power over men to seduce the wealthy ones. Their animalistic behavior results in numerous consequences, including rapidly spreading STDs, divorce, and unintended pregnancies which often lead to abortions without medical necessity (AKA feticide, fetal murder). In 2021, a whopping 40% of childbirths in the USA were from unmarried women.13 Western culture is clearly harmful to society, despite their secular attempts to curtail the harms.

On Following the West

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “You will follow the ways of those nations who were before you, span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e., inch by inch) so much so that even if they entered a hole of a lizard, you would follow them.” We said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! (Do you mean) the Jews and the Christians?” He said, “Whom else?”
